We conduct a wide variety of full and half day tours in Johannesburg and around Gauteng and North West province. We make use of only registered Tourist Guides with Pdp permit and valid First Aid Certificate. We make certain all the vehicles have the neccessary road transport permits for the trip.

Cradle of Humankind Tour to Maropeng, Sterkfontein caves and Lion and Safari Park

Visit the world renowned Cradle of Humankind and world heritage site outside Johannesburg on this full day tour. The cradle of humankind is situated 50 km from Johannesburg. It contains a complex of limestone caves, including the Sterkfontein Caves, where the 2.3-million year-old fossil Australopithecus africanus(nicknamed "Mrs Ples") was found in 1947 by Dr Robert Broom. Sterkfontein Caves - Within the caves, scientists have discovered many hominid and other animal fossils, dating back more than 4-million years, to the birth of humanity. The most important and most famous of these fossils are "Mrs Ples", a 2.3-million-year-old Australopithecus skull, and "Little Foot", an almost complete Australopithecus skeleton that is more than 3-million years old. These fossils, both found in the Sterkfontein Caves in the Cradle of Humankind, tell us much about the precursors of modern humans, Homo sapiens.

Lion and Safari Park - Visit the world renowned Lion Park. This park is situated very close to Johannesburg and Pretoria and is ideal for a half day tour for visitors with limited time on their hands. Also very closely situated to Lanseria International Airport. Animals indigenous to Africa can be found in this reserve such as large herbivores, and various predators.

Lion Park Johannesburg is home to over 80 lions including the rare white lions and many other carnivores such as South African cheetah, Cape wild dog, hyena and spotted hyena, black-backed jackal, and a wide variety of antelope which roam freely in the antelope area.

The antelope area, containing blesbok, gnu, impala, gemsbok, and zebra, is in a separate part away from the lions and other carnivores.

Pilanesberg Safari

Experience big 5 country, only 2 hours from johannesburg. Let us take you on our special Pilanesberg Safaris. Pilanesberg National Park is a 55000 hectare game reserve, situated in a 1200 million year old volcano. The beauty of Pilanesberg is reflected in a large central lake, the Mankwe Dam. Today, Pilanesberg Game Reserve accommodates almost every mammal of southern Africa, including the big five. The Bird life diversity is excellent, with over 360 species having been recorded. Rhino and Lion Park Tour - "The nearest faraway place"

Excellent game viewing opportunities are offered on our Rhino and Lion Park Tour. The Rhino and Lion nature reserve is situated within the cradle of humankind, a world heritage site. This reserve is conveniently situated to Johannesburg and Pretoria. Therefore making it easy for pickup from either of these two locations. This is typical highveld area consisting of the grassland biome. Various successful breeding programs for white rhino, bengal and siberian tigers and the beautiful and fascinating white lions are undertaken here. Due to its popularity it quickly became one of the "top 5" tourist destinations in Gauteng. The reserve started in 1985 and is approximately 1200 hectares in size.

The management of the reserve were still not satisfied and hence the re-introduction of warthog, after a long absence from the Gauteng highveld, was successfully implemented. A natural development was the establishment of a vulture restaurant which caters for the groups of these magnificent birds which live in the nearby Magaliesberg. Through the generosity of the general public and farmers, who donate carcasses to the reserve on a regular basis, this venture has proven highly successful. Often one can view as many as 200 birds feasting at the reserve.

 Animals that are home to this reserve are White Rhinoceros, Lion, Wild Dogs, Cheetah, Steenbuck, Springbuck, Hippopotamus, Black Backed Jackal, Suricate, Warthog, Common Waterbuck, Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Siberian Tiger, Bengal Tiger, White Tiger, White Lion, Blue wilebeest, Black Wildebeest, Eland, Impala, Blesbuck, various other and bird life. Sterkfontein Caves - The Cradle of Humankind

Take a tour of the Sterkfontein Caves. Situated in the cradle of humankind a World Heritage Site, 45 mins from Johannesburg.

De Wildt Cheetah Tour

The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre is situated in the Magaliesberg mountains. This centre is a captive breeding facility for cheetahs and other animals. On this tour you will come up close and personal with the fastest land animal the "cheetah." Cullinan Diamond Mine Tour

Transport is provided from your hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria to the world famous Cullinan Diamond Mine. Visit the Cullinan diamond mine, where a diamond of 3106 Carats were discovered in 1905.

You'll have the option of a surface mine tour or an underground mine tour. A surface tour comprises a nine minutes DVD, a model of an underground tunnel, the mine shaft, the hoist room and big hole. The tour lasts for 1 and half to 2 hours. The underground mine tour takes about 4 hours. Visitors are provided with safety clothes, such as overalls, safety shoes, socks and helmets. You are then taken down to the level of 763 meters. You then walk to other levels where you will see the ore being tipped, crushed and hoisted up. You also visit the administration offices and workshop underground.
After visiting the mine, you will get the opportunity to visit the Cullinan diamond mine market for an unforgettable diamond jewellery shopping experience. Drive through the beautiful town of Cullinan, and finally return to your hotel in Johannesburg or Pretoria.

Pilanesberg Open Vehicle Safari

Depart Johannesburg or Pretoria at 10:00 for the 2.5 to 3-hour drive to Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Upon arrival at Bakubung Lodge, sit down in the restaurant and enjoy lunch overlooking the watering holes of one of South Africa's most beautiful national parks.

Fringed by 3 concentric rings of hills, Pilanesberg Game Reserve is a long-extinct volcanic crater formed by eruptions some 1,200 million years ago. Climb aboard an open safari vehicle with other tourists at 16:30 for a 3-hour game drive through the park. Listen to your knowledgeable guide as they explain the flora and fauna, and look for wildlife, including the legendary "Big 5" (African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, African leopard and rhinoceros) in their native habitat.

Keep a close look-out for the many smaller creatures of the African wilderness, along with their big predators from the safety of your vehicle. Enjoy a short break at the end of your safari drive before the return journey to Johannesburg or Pretoria.
